Engineering leadership, now agentic. Technical Lead · Generative AI · Creative technology

I've been building software since 1997 and leading teams for over a decade. Today I help clients bring AI into how they build and test software, from agentic workflows to CI pipelines that fix their own tests. Next, I'm looking for a role where engineering meets everything else.

What's next

The role I'm looking for

I’m open to full-time roles (preferred) and freelance engagements. Not another seat working through tickets: a role where someone needs to connect technology with the people who use it, sell it or make art with it.

Based in València, Spain. Remote.

  • AI enablement & adoption lead

Getting teams to actually use AI well, not just license it: choosing the tools, designing the workflows and training the people who will use them every day.

  • Creative technologist

The person between engineering, marketing and production, who can prototype the idea, judge the output and explain the trade-offs to everyone at the table.

  • Technical lead

For teams building AI-powered products, especially where the product meets content, media or creative work. Hands-on with the architecture and the code, and with the people side too: hiring, mentoring and running the team.

Why me

What I bring to a team

01

AI where the work happens

Today I help clients automate how they build and test software with AI: agentic workflows for the team, and AI inside the pipeline itself, like CI tests that heal themselves when the interface changes. And when the tools don't talk to each other, I connect them, so nothing falls through the gap.

02

Agentic development, hands on

I still build. I develop agentically, end to end: this site, my games, and the custom tools behind my video pipeline. When I recommend a workflow to a team, it's one I use myself.

03

A bridge between departments

Product owner, Scrum master, the link between agencies and clients and between business and developers. I translate in both directions, so decisions get made by people who actually understand them.

04

Teams that grow

At Netcentric I helped hire developers with more potential than experience. Some of them became senior developers and architects. I still mentor today, through the CEEI and one-to-one.

Since 1997

Track record

The short version. The long one lives in what I call my legacy CV: everything I built before AI changed how I work. A different era, but the same foundations, with education, training and every role in detail.

Let's start with a conversation.

Happy to go as deep as you like: architecture, leadership, AI strategy, the messy reality of adoption. I don’t do take-home tests anymore, and I’ve written about why.
